Episcopal Day School seeks extended care assistants to work at the Hilton-Green Campus with children ages two through 1st grade. The daily job requirement includes assisting with snack time, arts and crafts projects, and supervision of students on the playground and in the classroom. Episcopal Day School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher assistant to begin in August 2018. Individuals must have the ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively with the lead teacher to deliver a 21st century learning experience. EDS seeks candidates who are growth oriented, lifelong learners passionate about working with children, and supportive of the school’s mission, vision and core values. Candidates must be willing to partner with parents and administration.
A strong candidate will have higher education coursework in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a related field. Classroom experience, commitment to early childhood education, understanding of developmentally appropriate practices, and a history of strong relationships with children are required. Computer literacy, proficiency, and experience with educational technology is preferred. The school offers a competitive benefits package.
